If you’ve ever sourced a diesel generator for an industrial site, you know the drill. You get three quotes, compare base prices, and pick the one that fits your budget. That’s what we did five years ago when we needed a 250kW standby unit. The winning bid was $42,000 – a solid $3,000 less than the closest competitor. Felt like a good call.
